PRLog is a very minimal website offering a free press release distribution service for small, medium and large business and organizations. They offer a Press Release Directory, a Business Directory, Job listings and a product directory.

PRlog offers a free press release account for any user and hosts the release either on a webpage or in PDF format. They offer support for video press releases and multiple categories and tags to store the press release.
Their distribution network includes Google news, numerous other search engines and RSS feeds. PRlog also offers each user their own online press room. They allow company logos and pictures to be added along with SEO optimization, an unlimited number of press releases to be issued and a visitor number counter.
Prlog also maintains a fully searchable database of previously uploaded press releases and is searchable by date, category, geographic location and company or industry type.
Pricing Structure
This is one of the main benefits of PRlog – the service is free! This includes a distribution and hosting service only. There are no analytics beyond a visitor counter and a limited contact base compared to other sites. If you just want a host and release site however, PRlog will perform this service adequately.

PRlog is a unique service in that it is stripped down of virtually all of the ancillary features of other press release websites. It has space for hosting release, it will issue them to various newswires and news websites and will place them on its RSS feed and will let you know how many visitors have read the release on the website.

We use PRlog for our press releases and we are not sure if they help our seo rankings or not. Our site has attracted more cutsomers but we are doing a lot of other seo marketing besides pr log so it’s hard to say if its specifially them.

PR log is an unmitigated piece of crap. Apparently it will plug anyone or any site that will ask them to — no truth involved at all.
